Default Jaguar dispatches a Cayman in seconds...

Pictures: Jaguar Kills Caiman in "Spectacular" Attack

Ok, really a Caiman, Porsche spells it wrong or something... Alow some poetic license here people...

Is there any doubt that big felids are the most beautiful creatures in nature (certain human females excepted)?

The Jaguar is (along with the Bengal and Siberian Tiger) @ the top of my list, the Jag takes it for overall proportion and grace. Just my opinion... Never been close enough to really appreciate their beauty at full scale and up personal (probably a good thing), but just amazing animals our cars took their name from. Versus say Chevrolet, which used to be what people who milked goats were called in old French...

Pounce, chomp, drag into tree...

Great way to wake up this morning....to see this post.

Yes, Porsche does spell Caiman differently.....Cayman.

Yes, these are amazing animals, and it is so nice to be able to own both of them. Pictured is my 2009 Jaguar XKR and my 2014 Cayman 981. Both totally different animals. But both strong in style, performance and luxury. Both are amazing drives, and the quality of each build is outstanding. The Jaguar is fast, very fast.

Richard,

I hare the Cayman is the jewel of the Porsche lineup... Would love to get some time behind the wheel of one. Beautiful car and every review says it challenges the 911 @ a much better value. I've looked through one @ a dealer, build quality and interior are A+... You are a lucky man to have two similar but different cars to enjoy

Yes, the new 981 is a great car and was a great value.....the 981 I bought was fairly loaded with the exact options and color combination I wanted and was priced at $72,510.00 MSRP....picked it up for $66,815.00. I am very well satisified with the car. I have no regrets buying it. The Jaguar XKR however has so much more power. The 981 is highly rated and just a beautiful automobile. When I want the top down, I drive the Jaguar. Both the XKR and 981 are fantastic driving machines.
