I agree, Jaguar needs a Super Car reminiscent of the old XJ220. Since Jaguar does not have one currently, I believe one should be added but not at the expense of losing a GT car, as is the XK.
Pretty much any Super Car is a point A to point A vehicle; I wouldn't want to go shopping in one, not to mention any extended journey. I have no qualms whatsoever of hopping in my XKR and hitting the streets. Obviously I park WAY away from other cars in lots, but I certainly wouldn't leave an XJ220 unattended for more than like two minutes, regardless of where I parked it.

This design to me looks like a mid-ship engine which could be V8 or V12 to match up against the Audi A8. Then again it has the potential of being all electric . Although it is out of my retirement budget I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.

It is rounded on every surface, a little too much bubble looking for my taste, looks about the same size as our current XK/XKR, and appears to have a very cramped back seat (like ours). Very strange looking rear pillars, but overall an attractive looking car (though I didn't think it was as good looking as ours). I'm not sure who is going to buy the car. The SL is their personal luxury/GT, the new AMG GT is their sports car, the 2 door E class is their large coupe. I'm not sure how to differentiate from amongst their markets.

Has anyone else seen one on the street?
One of the guys I work with has an S class coupe. He really likes it. One of the things we were talking about yesterday was that the lumbar support "tilts" when the car is turning to help. He thought it was strange at first, now he's grown accustomed to it and really likes it and feels strange when driving in his wife's car when the lumbar doesn't roll.

He also has multiple driving sets...four or five compared to the old XK 2 (sport and extra sport) and the new XK 3 (sport, extra sport and winter). As I recall, there's economy, sport, comfort and winter....maybe one other.

looks like the C-X75 concept from back in 2010 to me...

Jaguar C-X75 Concept (2010)

Which was cancelled... http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/car-rev...5-2013-review/

BUT... Will appear in the next James Bond movie... (The villian's car, of course! It's good to be bad!!!) http://www.carscoops.com/2015/02/jam...uar-c-x75.html
