Hello
To my dismay when attempting another go at the throttle body clean, i found a large crack in the air intake pipe just before the throttle valve (see pic).
Is there a proper way to fix this without having to replace the whole damn thing? Please help i am very sad

Looks like you found the cause of your rough idle.
If you can't find a silicone/rubber coupler as mentioned above, take the cracked part off, clean it out, and wrap some silicone tape around it. Probably won't be air tight but should last while you order a coupler. You'll have to take it off anyway to measure the diameters.

*Update*
got some epoxy putty and silicon tape. The crack is much worse than I thought half of pipe connecting to the throttle body fell off once I loosened the belt holding it. Used epoxy putty to 'patch' it in place, then wrapped it as best I could with the silicon tape which set in a minute, then retightened the belt.
No vibration when idling!!! I hope that three weeks of intermittent driving with the broken pipe did not do irreversible damage to the engine through sucking dust into the cylinders
