Default Keeping it British

Parked up to grab a bite to eat and noticed a range rover intentionally parked up behind me I couldn't resist had to get a pic

Very sorry about the pic guys but had a black vantage park behind me out the front of my work and also a s5 sorry I know the audi isn't British but it's still worthy of going up on our forum

Heh, now that i've seen these pics i'm pretty sure i've seen you out & about. On Victoria Road and once on James Ruse / Old Windsor Rd...? Not that many black XK's getting around these parts...

A Range Rover and Jag parked next to each other and now it's British Car Day...

Guilty as charged that is me ! The pic with the db9 is Vic rd gladesville and the pic with the vantage is also on Vic rd west Ryde
Yes don't often see too many xk's getting around in Australia so much for keeping it stealth !

Steve,

Thanks. The color is Shadow Gray, and was exclusive to the USA-only 2009 XKR Portfolio models (coupe and convertible), the final year of the 4.2L engine. Here's a much better photo:


It appears lighter or darker depending on the light conditions. This was taken on a sunny day in late afternoon with the setting sun directly on the car, which makes it appear darker towards the bottom.

The black is very striking but this color is absolutely stunning I can't keep my eyes off it ! Good choice Stuart

I missed the ol' days when all Jag models looked different, yet unmistakably Jaguar... none of that 'corporate design identity' boring nonsense that we have today.

XJ350 exterior is better looking than what they have now. Such a revolutionary car. I'd like to get another.

Hi Mike
I'm often passing through that way en route to one of my favourite chicken shops on Blenheim road
I've only ever spotted 2 xkr's in Sydney one black in gladesville the other a dark navy in Rhodes both appeared to be the 5l variety what color is yours I'll keep my eyes peeled
