Just purchased this 2008 xk coupe. very cheap for good reason. Has some electrical gremlins i'd love to get sorted out. It started with the left side indicators not working, as well as the right high and low beam not working. I've fixed the ground on the right wheel arch, and upon inspection realized one of the ballasts were corroded so i replaced it. Now both headlights work, low and high beam, however none of the left side indicators work. front, side, or rear. I did a soft reset (connecting positive and negative terminal together) and when i activated the left indicator i saw all left indicators light up for about a second, then switch off immediately. The problem persists with the left indicators. I can only get them to work for about one second after a soft reset, after that, nothing. Any pointers in the right direction? Is there a different ground I should be worried about?
Two different grounds for the lh indicators. Could be an instrument cluster issue - low battery conditions can give some weird effects with the cluster.
