I had surgery today, so it will be about 3 weeks 'til I can swing a club. It would be my pleasure.

Thanks and by the way I'm going to be in SoCal over christmas visiting friends and relatives. Seems like my kid and I don't want to be home for the holidays. As for golf I just finished setting up my trip next year to Scotland. We had planned to do it but due to the illness we aborted the plan. At this point I'm "running on empty" but I know it will improve.

The $30k trade and tax savings looks to split the difference between their offer and list. Personally I would say take that deal and save yourself the hassle of dealing with low ballers, joy riders, or all around tools you have to weed through to sell your car. Listing it at $35k means you will have to negotiate with whoever comes in, nobody expects to pay first price. Sure you can hold out, but everyday you have it is another day it is sitting idle.
Yeah you know us Jag owners always believe we own gold but the harsh truth comes out when you sell. What's hard to swallow is purchasing the car in 2014 for $75K and selling it now for $30K. Then again I put 20K miles of great rides and adventures. With winter starting in here and putting the car up for it several months storage it's better to sell it and move on while I have the chance.

Sorry for you loss, my condolences.

Everyone's car is worth a lot less than what think it is when it comes time to trade it in. I was looking at a used DB11 and the dealership quoted a trade-in value that was an "end of conversation" for me. I told her to stop calling me on any cars you have, there is not point to discuss this further... Luckily a month later some AM executives said I should keep the Rapide vs. trading it in for a DB11...

Jagtoes,
If you're in SoCal during the holidays, I insist on playing a round with you. I had my hernia surgery yesterday, and I should be able to swing a club by then. Again, don't rent a car, don't even make hotel reservations if you don't want to, I've got both covered. Please keep in touch.

Jagtoes - Although I'm not a golfer, we will be around LA for the holidays. Let's plan on lunch and a visit to the Peterson Museum which is supposed to be one of the top Auto museums in the world. Maybe Ted will join us. Regards,

Visiting relatives in Lake Forest . Doing a fly in and 3 day and out. Thanks for the offers but just need a short diversion with my daughter to avoid Christmas at home. I may be back later in the summer for a week so we'll see.
