I learned this when I purchased new aftermarket wheels for my 2009 XKR in March of this year. I had to measure the studs for proper length and for Fastco.ca just to verify that the factory OEM studs would fit their wheels, which they did before ordering. Otherwise it would have been quite the job for me to handle it myself.
My OEM wheel lug nuts however would not work with the new wheels and had to order Tuner Spline Drive lug nuts for the wheels to go on the car.

You may want to contact Lenny Jr, at Motorsports Tech here in the USA for wheel adapters. They are located in Nevada. They would save pulling the rotors to replace the OEM studs with longer ones.
I don't personally like using any spacers or wheels adapters myself, but this may work for you. I am not sure of exactly what you are trying to acheive, but this is just some friendly advice.
Explore their website. They are great to work with, and have premium machined products.

Hope this helps.
