Default looking to powder coat Calipers in Los Angeles

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and am the ecstatic and proud owner of a 2007 XK. (black coupe)

I am interested in getting my calipers powder coated in los angeles. Any suggestions on where is best to take it? I called Galpin Auto and was quoted $400 plus $200 for Jaguar emblem. I understand $100 per caliper is about the going rate for powder coating and am ok with that, however $200 for Jaguar decals seems exaggerated to me. I purchased some decals from ebay that seem like they would work ok, but i would hate to spend so much on powder coating in the proper manner, only to have the cheap decals start peeling, disintigrating etc.

Any advice on who to go to get this done properly and on the Jaguar decals would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Nicolas

Does that quote included removing and the calipers from the car?

Thank you Richard, I will check that thread out.

mosesbotbol, I believe that the quote included everything. Draining brake fluid, etc.

Unfortunately that thread is for an R emblem on the calipers. I am looking to have "Jaguar" in white. Mine is not an "R"… :0)

UPDATE: Just spoke with Mike from Galpin Autos, $450 is to PAINT calipers, not powder coat.
Any opinions on Paint VS powdercoat? What does JAGUAR do?
thanks
