Out here in the SF area 911's are everywhere. If you are ok with a GT instead of a more raw sports car, a low priced low mile '08 XK Coupe is hard to beat from a dollar to beauty perspective. Smooth driver, reliable, no weak points IMO and rarely seen and hence a big head turner. Consider that you'd be getting essentially the same body as a new $100k+ XKR and you see the killer value. No car that nice looking for anywhere near that cost...

I think even when the new body comes out, this one will age well. I have a 2010 XKR Coupe, and even though it is the 'R' version, it is very smooth and comfortable when driven gently. I'd imagine the XK is even smoother and more silent, probably rides more compliantly and is as silent if not more. Mine is a daily driver and, other than having a micro sized 'back seat', is an easy car to own and use as my only car.

Go for it! The interior quality also, knocks my socks off...
