I have the same wheels and did 20mm front and 15mm rear and feel like it is too much.

I have a set of new 15mm H& R spacers for the front that fit a 2013 xkr. If you are interested and if my 15mm fit your car and your 20 fit mine then I would be interested in an even trade. I will check fitment on their site. please post the model number of the spacer. It is on the side of the box

Thank you for the offer but first I am going to lower the car this week if I have time and determine for certain what I need in the rear, right now it seems like 5mm.

I'll let you know.

The cars do look good lowered I'll give you that. Mine is stock and rubs occasionally if I'm not paying attention. Could not imagine going lower. But it sure does look better.

Also, I'll take a close up pic so you can see how much gap is left between the tire and wheel well with 30 mm springs.
Gorgeous Car. Do you mind telling me what kit is that in the car?

Korey Cladd,
When I first bought my 2010 XKR in 2013, I saw GhostriderXKR08's car pictures on some posts, here on the forum, and I decided that that's what I wanted my car to look like. Essentially, it had the components of the XKR175 with the side skirts etc. I assembled the pieces for my car from Mina Galleries for the front splitter and the side skirts, and the rear bumper/diffuser from F/X Designs out of Chicago. Although the front splitter is minimal in height, it prevents lowering the car without risking destroying it everytime you go in or out of a driveway of any depth. I've replaced mine three times and repaired it several more times. But all in all, after 7 years of ownership and 180,000 miles, it still looks new, great, and is still a pleasure to drive every day.

its very very nice brother!!! So mine is a '07, that I'm about to put a '11 bumper on it. However I like the '07 splitter that Mina has. Will the 07 splitter from mina fit the 11 bumper? Also, I have not seen those side skirts on Mina. Where are they located? Lastly, any front pics of your car? Thank you very much for the.responses!!!

I originally did the 1.3 inch drop Springs on my XK. I removed them almost immediately it was too low not worrying about hitting the splitter but just didn't look right the.gap was too tight at the top and too wide on the sides. Take a look at the XKRSs...they sit perfect they have a different spring which lowers at around 12 mm I believe it's perfect. If you go with the lower Springs you start have to start diickng around with wheel spacers to make it look right it's a real pita... here's a pic of mine lowered 5/8 of an inch or about 15 mm it's just right... not too low and not too high and the wheel Gap is very nice all the way around the tire with no wheel spacers

Korey Cladd,
There are many older items that don't appear on Mina Galleries' website any longer, but he can still make them. The front splitter that is on my car is one of those items, but he recently made several for forum members and an extra one for me. When I originally got mine, we bondoed the three pieces together to look like one which are the pictures shown below. The problem I subsequently discovered was after scraping the bottom of the splitter several times or just the amount of flex going up and down driveways, always produced hairline cracks where we joined the three pieces. This time when I put on the new one I got a couple of months ago, we left it in the three piece configuration, and while I don't think it looks as sleek, the 3/8" or so gap/overlap of the 3 sections absorbs the flex and therefore, no more cracks. I don't believe the side skirts are on the website any longer either, but he has the moulds for everything he has ever made. Here are some additional photos:

The factory front splitter as well as Mina's is actually 3 pieces, a center and two rounded sides. We bondoed them together to produce this seamless splitter.

You can see how the front splitter sort of feeds into the side skirts from this angle.

I used spring clamps that cost me forty bucks. It drives great and has no squeaks or creaks... it seems to handle about the same... some may say it's Mickey Mouse but they work well with no issues. My opinion was the 1.3 inch drop was way too much... also my alignment stayed within spec

I had done that in another car about 2 decades ago and forgot all about it lol. Definitely something to keep in mind.

Default Part Number for H&R 35mm Springs

Hi I just wondered if anyone knew the actual part number please for lowering a 2007 XKR 35mm with H&R Springs? I have seen some advertised for 2006 onwards with part number 29117-1 but if I go on H&R website they seem to say its part number 29299-1. There would be nothing worse than my mechanic having the wrong part when its in pieces on the ramp and I thought you guys might know which part you fitted on yours. Look great with a lower stance! Many thanks Paul

spring clamps can be dangerous if they let go at significant speed…. Sorry but i also call them mickey mouse… not a product for any decent car.
