If your rear glass has begun to separate from the fabric, without completely failing out, you should be able to glue it back on with the top up. Be sure to use Rhino Glue. See this thread for details, including photos. Read this entire thread in full before you start working on it.

Thanks, I've looked at that and several other posts here but my separation is on the inside which now that I'm thinking out loud this maybe a headliner issue. I think all the convertible top glass posts here mainly address the glass seal to the outside top itself. My seam around the inside glass and the headliner looks and feels like velcro type material but it won't hold. My first thought was to use the adhesive and glue the headliner to the window along the velcro strips. This being my first convertible, not sure which approach to use. Maybe there's a headliner tension adjustment that might help. not sure.
