Ok have checked this out with jaguar dealer
chrome ones £65.08 inc VAT for both sides
black ones £236.68 inc VAT for both sides
WTF!! From what I know of chroming plastic it's quite an intensive process. Doubtless if you were to scrape the chrome off it would probably be black or white underneath.
Black however will probably be black all the way through...so how can they justify over 3 times the price!
So will be buying a set of the chrome ones and spraying them up.
So next question is how easy are they to remove?

Are these for the later, facelift cars with the slimmer lights as in the photo on page 1? I'm trying to find the same thing for the earlier 5.0 cars, pretty sure they're different parts but the only P/Ns I can find are the same as you listed there...

On my '07 there is a NACA duct molded into the bottom of the belly pan for the nose that sucks road air up into it and around a corner that aims it as the rotor. It's inboard of the tire walls. There's also a little air scoop for the alternator. Pretty clever in all honesty.

I just went out to the garage and looked at my 2012 (it's on the lift for the night). It has a small NACA opening under the passenger side of the plastic belly pan. It looks like it may duct to the alternator on the lower right side of the engine. In the front under the lip there are a few rows of square cutouts both in front and behind the radiator. There is no ducting to either brake rotor as both the suspension and PS rack boots and the whole wheel/brake package are in the open. That's all I got and I wonder what the S or GT package has.

There are optional F-type clip on flow directors that fit on the lower arms, they extend from the naca ducts on the under tray and curve into the center of the front rotors.
