If you're listening to music, you need to upgrade your exhaust system

If you thought that was a cool fly-through, this one is crazy! It took ***** to do it, literally! And a rare Ferrari Aperta.

P.S. Don't try this at home!

Very cool. Nice cabin fly thru effect. maybe film in open field for more natural background.

Also, does you drone have the follow mode? I have seen some pretty impressive drones that will follow or chase a defined object. GPS and recognition technologies are used. This would be pretty cool in a drive thru the countryside. Especially for convertible owners.

very cool video. I can't say that I would have thought about doing a fly through with my mavic, but still pretty cool.

Now that you've leveled up, you need to do a video of the car, while it is moving! I just did one while we were on a pontoon boat and man was it tricky, being on a moving boat, not knowing where the driver was going, bouncing around, all while trying to fly and get good shots. I had a couple close calls myself, almost hitting the Bimini top of the boat.

VERY cool! I love toys and have been on and off the drone bandwagon. How much was this one?

Very cool, loved the fly through. I've been thinking about getting a DJI Mavic Air 2, but since I live in the Washington DC area, Drones are banned here unless you drive 2 hours away. Would have been great to do drone videos of the city, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.

Really nice job! Does your drone have the "follow me" feature? I've done that and the drone would follow me around the block. Kinda cool.

I’m sure I will enjoy the video, but for anyone thinking gee, I’m going to go get me a drone ‘cause this looks cool, a big caveat:

read through this carefully: https://www.faa.gov/uas/recreational_fliers/

as a pilot And former FAA type, I don’t want to see a drone getting bigger and bigger in my windshield on final or climbing out. It better be registered, the pilot needs the appropriate license, it should not be flown near controlled airspace without advance permission, and it better be kept under 400’. There’s more, but you get the drift. I’m sure you don’t want it to ruin someone’s day. P.S. as a former nuclear type as well, commercial reactors and drones do not mix either, and there are a boatload of places either marked off limits on government notices or geofenced.

Eliot

Drones will soon have passengers or other, so any new or existing regulations better be in place, understood and enforced to insure everyone's safety.

To keep it Jag related. How long before Jaguar has an entry in the Airspeeder Series - airspeeder(dot)com

If I were to buy a drone, that is what I would want it to look like.

Mavic Mini is 249 grams, no FAA license needed

One neat thing is the geofencing. Because the drone uses GPS, it won't fly in off-limit areas. If it's a low altitude area the drone will automagically stay below that height. You can look at the map in the app and it shows restricted areas, usually around airports, national parks, etc.

this does not apply to all drones BTW. Mavic is like the Apple of drones. A bit over priced, but quality.

I tried that yesterday. Not easy.

Any bit of wind makes entry difficult. Then, once it gets inside, if I stop the drone it freaks out and flies into the headliner. It's due to the sensors on the bottom that tell it how high off the ground it is. I'm looking to see if I can disable those or something.

Also, even though it's the "mini" the cabin gets real small real fast.

Nice video. It's amazing what you can do with the smallest versions of the mavic. I have been operating drones for five years and I have three including the Inspire 2 big daddy. I do this professionally for businesses, schools, municipalities as a side gig. But I also do it for fun too. Always licensed and insured. There's a reason that an FAA license is needed when you fly an Inspire 2. I have done action aerial photography with Motocross Riders on a track, one of the most difficult and amazing things shooting at 4K. It's also one of the scariest things to do. It's so big it would likely hurt somebody badly even with motocross gear on. I have filmed some cars driving in a few nice country backgrounds. That is sketchy too as you need to know the roads, trees, and especially power lines. My XK-R couldn't hold the big drone in it's trunk so I would need my truck just to haul my gear around. But this video and my love for my Black Jag just might have pushed me over. I just hate the idea of someone else getting the pleasure of driving my car while I shoot it! LOL!

Very nice! (Although I think your choice in music sucks, but that just me, I'm sure...)

I'm just getting started with my drone, only to screw up time after time.
I just hope I get a bit better with each flight to even try to compose something even close to what you have done here.

Kudos!

I have a dash cam in my Z06. SO much easier to operate than a drone
