Might the XK line be "allowed to fade away" - AutoWeek reviews the XKR-S Convertible
The article, from the current print issue, says that the most of the 2013 XKR-S models have already been sold but that "The order book for the 2014 model year, however, remains wide open" That line was taken out of the online version.
Both versions have this line:
"The XK line is set to either be overhauled following the 2014 year or allowed to fade away, making room for another, as-yet-unannounced line of luxury sports cars."

Good article, thanks for posting.
The order guide for the 14 isn't even avaiable so I'm not quite sure what they meant?
As I've mentioned here since around May of last year I was told directly by the SE US Jag rep the XK is going to a true 2+2 and moving more up market; this makes sense considering the new XE being added.
