I was thinking of ordering the carbon fiber Mirror covers and with black rims I think that's it up to look good, any thoughts?
If you are going CF mirror covers then leave all that is carbon, carbon... You may want to do some additional layers of clear coat though.

Personally, if I were to change/add any panels, they would have to be outrageous with huge vents and angles sharp enough to cut myself on. Paying thousands to still look almost stock doesn't appeal to me.

Vick G
I like the idea of leaving it all one color like the pictures you included. To me it just looks more integrated and more factory like. When I put on the rear bumper/diffuser, there were photos with the diffuser in a charcoal gray or in body color, and I chose to do the body color. If you like carbon fiber, by all means, customize it to make yourself happy. My choice, however, would be body color to match everything else.

In this case I agree with tberg.

Hey Jahummer's,

Can you please post pictures of your car from far?

As soon as I have a moment I will certainly do that. The quick pics I posted do not do it justice.

I added Mina Galleries' previous model side skirts and front lip to my car in addition to the F/X Design rear bumper/diffuser. When I first saw the pictures of forum member GhostriderXKR08's car, I thought it was just about exactly what I wanted for mine, and I went about it assembling the bits and pieces to make it happen.
Good for you for making your car the way you want it.
Tberg,

Did you lower your suspension or kept it stock?

Also was your window door trim chrome and you made it back?

If so what did you do?

I did not lower my suspension. I think it is an optical illusion created by the extension of the side skirts. The window trim was blacked out by the previous owner (not powder coated, I believe, because there are little edges of the trim peeking through.) He also painted over the rear chrome "Jaguar" lettering valance.

WOW!

Nice setup and yes this definitely helps. Those lips do make your car look more aggressive , did you also lower your car?

I like the way the lips look on the car

Also wanted to ask, what type of rims are those make and model? are those Niche?

Yes the car has custom Eibachs sourced from Matt @ Spires in the UK. The drop is about .75" or half of OE height.

jahummer,

after looking at your set up i'm leaning more towards what you have, the carbon fiber lip, side skirts but I will add rear carbon fiber diffuser.

I will add the carbon fiber mirror covers as well, this will look nice on my black xkr.

HRE P101 and Jag forum member MaximA was my inspiration. I considered Niche, but thought they were too common on German cars. I also considered Avant Garde M580 until I discovered the Verde Axis V99. I went with those, had them custom bored & offset and powder coated them. Color is not quite what I wanted so may have to have them powder coated again, either darker or lighter.

Do you find that your front lip spoiler scrapes over curbs, speed bumps?

Or is it ok?

Car is 3/4 of an inch lowered and lip adds about another 3/8. I have driven low clearance cars for a long time and know how to handle slopes, curbs, bumps, etc, so no, I have never had any issue with scraping.
