Mirrors stopped retracting…

I have a 2012 XKR. Yesterday, after washing the car, the mirrors were restricted, and they didn't go back out after unlocking the car. It seems odd that both motors would burn out at the same time.
Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a fuse that could have burned out?

I'm not an authority on this, you might check the settings. If "on" turn off. Leave and lock the car. Then, re-enter and reset to "On" or auto which ever applies. Perhaps this will re-train the function?
I've had mine loose its reverse mirror drop, on occasion. It seem to auto-correct during the next restart.

Sometimes this happens when the battery is low of charge or when they manually close the mirrors. A quick way to reset the mirrors is to hold both mirror select buttons down together. These buttons are the ones where you select which mirror you would like to adjust on the driver side door panel. It should close the mirrors, then press and hold again and it will open both back up.
Now when you lock the car, the mirrors will fold again (if you have this option selected in settings)
