Default Morse Code in Reverse

Since a week or so ago, now when I'm in reverse, the parking sensors act up. Two if the sensor areas flash on the screen and it sounds like Morse code! Any remedy for this? It's pretty annoying and I can no longer trust the parking sensors!

First and easiest.... is your car clean? Dirty sensors can do just that.

No, it's filthy. Been driving it around in salt and snow! Better clean it and report back!

Just tried cleaning them, and still having issues. It is still wet outside, though. It seems to be mostly the right rear sensor that is giving me the trouble. What else can I check?

Sounds like a short in the sensor. My truck had the issue where it was giving false positives, made me real nervous when it says something is there but you know there shouldn't be.

I have had the same problem for the last 3 months. Front driver's side sensor shows on screen and does a staccato when in reverse. Then about once a week, it will behave absolutely normally for one or two starts. I keep my car very clean and we barely have rain, let alone salt and grime. It's so annoying that I have to turn it off on the ceiling console. I've mentioned it to my mechanic, just haven't had the time to solve it yet. Let us know what you find out.
