Default Multiple codes argh. - RESOLVED

Wifes car sounded like it was starving for air and doest have the pep mine does. When you blip the throttle, you can hear a distinct 'gasp' of air with the occasional pop of exhaust. I replaced both air filters and cleaned both MAF sensors since she couldnt remember the last time it was done. Filters looked clean and did the plumbing. Ran better but still down on power. 2013 NA XK, 56,000 miles.

Pulled codes and I got 6 (some are duplicates):
1) P00AD Generic Current
2) P010C Mass or Volume Air Flow B Circuit Low
3) P00AD Generic Pending
4) P010C Mass or Volume Air Flow B Circuit Low
5) P00AD Generic Permanent
6) P010C Mass or Volume Air Flow B Circuit Low

The P00AD codes point to a air temp sensor or so Google says. P010C kinda makes sense because I can actually hear it gasping for air when I give it a quick blip. My hunch is there is some sort of blockage/broken/leaking intake pipe. Second guess is that there is a broken wire causing havoc. Only other clue is I found this mystery hose near the passenger air filter......its not connected to anything.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Besides checking where that loose hose goes, do a really good inspection of your Intake T-Body thing, as those tend to tear. <--- That happens quite a lot when the left engine mount takes a poop. A loose engine COULD possibly tear a hose out from where it belongs also...

Will do. School me on the 'B' circuit thing............. i know there are two MAF sensors is one side 'A' circuit and the other 'B'? Or do they both have A and B channels running to both of them so if one goes out, the other picks up the slack?

The workshop manual clearly states an issue with the MAF or MAF circuitry. ‘how’ exactly did you clean them?

Problem solved.....Mystery solved. Pulled the passenger side off to measure voltage and trace where the mystery hose might hook up. Turns out she is missing the connecting hose that goes to the right front headlight washer. While I was in there, I measured 5volts to the MAF when the key was on. Went to the drivers side, pulled everything off and cleaned the MAF connector because under further inspection it looked dirty. Measured 5 volts, plugged it back in and no codes. Runs, sounds normal.

Im calling it a win.
