I have just fitted my new Spires Stage 2 N/A exhaust to my 2010 5.0ltr N/A XK. It took a week to come from the UK to here in New Zealand, and only took an hour to fit (on my own), they even supplied the new narrower lower bumper valance to allow the twin pipes to fit.
The result is amazing, it looks fantastic and the sound is incredible.
Im guessing the stage 2 is the rear muffler and leaving the mid-pipes stock ?
Would love to know how it sounds compared to the standard exhaust
Yes you're right, they only replace the rear muffler, but it fits directly onto the existing system.
I will get a video done of the sound as it is now, but it is a much more throaty sound at idle, when accelerating gently it is obviously louder and more bassy in sound. When accelerating hard, thats when the fun happens, you get a big rise in noise whit a hard V8 burble and a slap sound - basicly everyone knows you're accelerating hard! The kickdown sound is amazing too, the pops and bangs are amplified, such a cool sound.
Hey Simongulliver, your Jag sounds fantastic, I have exactly the same car - the XK 5.0 with N/A 385 hp engine. I’m also thinking about installing the Spires Stage 2 non active exhaust. However that car is my daily driver, can you tell me how loud is inside the car while normal, constant driving comparing to stock? Are there any problems with drone effect?

Before dropping all this money on the rear box replace the standard resonator / muffler with a x-pipe (xkrs has that as stock ) not only with it free up a few more hp but improve the sound substancially

Jaguar XK 5.0 N/A with Spires Stage 2 N/A Exhaust
Nice setup. Did you lose any low end torque with the exhaust?
