She's a late 2009 5.0 XK Portfolio coupe in Pearl Grey metallic with black interior and less than 100K miles. Recent set of tyres all round, full history and new discs/pads front & rear.
Overall in very good condition although I think the battery is probably due for replacement.
160 mile trip back from picking her up was sheer joy.
I have a 2009 XKR Portfolio 4.2 Pearl Grey with the white interior and my coupe has shiny metal side vents. I really like the body colored side vents on your coupe.
I need to look into seeing if they will fit my car.
Does anyone know why we have different cars with the same year?
Were the 4.2 and 5.0 just different engine options?

The 2009 model in the UK is the 2010 offering in the US. Think of them as coming by a slow boat to get here.

My answers are in reverse order of your questions:
Optional engine displacements were never offered in any X150 model year. All 2007 - 2009 models were 4.2L, and all 2010 - 2015 models were 5.0L, although various power levels were available as options.
You're in Mississippi, and your 2009 XKR Portfolio has a 4.2L supercharged engine rated at 420HP. The exterior is not Pearl Grey and the interior is not White. All 2009 XKR Portfolio models were Shadow Grey with a choice of leather interior colors, either Charcoal with Cranberry stitching or Ivory with Slate stitching. There are many threads on this Forum about the 2009 XKR Portfolio. See:

Don't panic. Each Portfolio comes with a Jaguar improbability drive pricing tool, which, for example, prices a louvre at $150 and another similar one at $1000.

Totally different louvres portfolio is polished aluminium, slightly thicker in width and wider , whilst the other is plastic ..I know which one I would be going or keeping 😁
This is the right side vent on my 2009 XKR Portfolio.
Enlarge the photos to see the details. They're illuminated turn signals, and are milled from a solid block of cast aluminum, have mesh screens, and are highy polished. That's why a set costs $2,000 instead of $200.

(snip)
Even if it was hand milled by a German master machinist in a secret lab in the forested mountains in the south of Bavaria, it likely cost less than $100 to make. Actually, it was likely knocked out on a CNC machine in about 10 minutes, then polished for another 15. CAD'ed to allow installation of a standard from-stock sidelight.
But, as a salesguy told me once, the price of an object is whatever a buyer is willing to pay, irrespective of it's actual cost.
Not even the 4.2 xkr-s received the aluminium louvres it was issued the crappy plastic varieties, I guess most don't ppl wouldn't notice or care , however to me it's these smaller details and finishes that make it feel that more special to drive .

Correct! Same with my previous BMW, whenever they updated a car they introduced it one year earlier in the Euro market. Then the next year they were available in the USA. I always figured it was a way to empty out the old inventory. And slow boat!
She's a beauty! Congratulations! My "drive home" was from New Jersey to Mississippi when I got mine a year and a half ago. Still feels just like yesterday. Drive carefully and enjoy your new baby!
