Navigation unit only displays eastern states
I bought my 2008 in Massachusetts and drove it west. Now when I try to set up a destination the navigation unit does not recognize any state except the eastern seaboard states. How do I get the darn thing to show all 50 states? Or, at least, the states west of the Mississippi? The darn thing only recognizes Washington DC just like it shows in the manual.

Welcome to the Forum, Andwell!
The 2008 came with two map disks, one for East and the other for West of the Mississippi. You should consider updating those old and obsolete maps with the latest available maps (on a single disk for East and West) from Volvo.
The last nav disk from Jaguar was for 2014. The most current nav disk is from Volvo (same Denso nav system) for 2016 and costs less than $200. It's available online from Volvo dealers and prices vary, so shop around. The Volvo disc that works is Volvo Part # 31489539. I bought mine here:
https://www.volvopartscounter.com/oe...-disc-31489539
It is a single disk with both East and West USA and all of Canada. It's easy to install and works well, except that the British bird's accent is nowhere to be found - but I'm not sure if that's true for Canada.

My understanding is the original nav maps were two disks in a set: east and west. You must have east only. Later versions combined the data in one disk. Look on e-bay.
Stuart S has addressed the latest Volvo maps (2016 or so) that work on the X150 so look for his posts on this topic on the forum.
Or just use navigation on your smart phone. I like Waze.

Hello guys,
I just bought a 2012 XK 150 convertible and discovered that it still has original mapset. I have been trying to source the volvo MMM2 update, 31489539, but cannot find it (are there one or two DVDs?) for less than about $240. Does anyone know where I can buy this for less? Or is anyone willing to burn me a set?
many thanks!
