Default Need new 20" tires? Act fast!

I just bought 4 new, staggered fitment 20" all-season Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires on clearance from Tire Rack.com for $692.68 delivered to my local Tire Rack warehouse. Why so cheap? Although they're brand new, they were manufactured in 2020. Installation is not included. I'm OK with that.

How did I arrive at $692.68?
Total price........ $751.01
Less GA Sales tax 55.33
............. GA tire fee. 4.00
Equals................ $692 68

One helluva bargain!

I will have them installed in my driveway by my local Discount Tire store (3 miles away) who were recommended by Tire Rack and offer Mobile Tire Installation service.
Installers for Tire Rack

These Bridgestone Potenza Sport AS tires fit almost all XKR models from 2007-2015 with 20" wheels. Check the door tag on your car to confirm.

Tire Rack had a few sets remaining after I bought mine, so act fast and get them before they're gone.

The rear tires are huge! You don't realize how wide they are unti they're off the car.

A helpful installation tip:

Lastly, if you have the OEM Jaguar lug nuts, be sure to use a 19mm socket wrench and hand tools only. Problems happen when tire jockeys who don't have metric sockets repeatedly use the closest size SAE socket that fits (usually 3/4") together with a power tool with excessive torque to remove and reinstall those lug nuts. That will eventually cause the outer shell of the OEM lug nut to deform and spin on the inner nut, thereby making it difficult to remove. Also, know that the proper torque spec is 92 ft--lbs, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the tire installer's database.

If you can't remove an OEM Jaguar lug nut because it's deformed and spins on the inner nut, simply take a 19mm socket and hammer it onto that deformed lug nut. You should then be able to remove it.

Great deal. Btw, how did you find Clearance on the Tire Rack site? I played around, but didn’t see it.

My tyre supplier thinks I give him enough of a hard time demanding matching manufacturing dates and batch numbers on a set. He'll be a nervous wreck when I want to check this too.

They are also the stock tyre sizes for the XFR and XJR (but not the XFR-S or XJR575).

WOW! Just found a set for $676 including shipping, might order it as a spare set. 2020 date should not matter as long as they were not exposed to direct sunlight which deteriorates the rubber. Also Kumho Majesty Solus 9TA91 is $676/set including shipping. I have run the Kumho for over 10 years on my cars and found them to be great tires for the money.

The price reflects the 2020 manufacture date. I looked very carefully on the sidewalls, both inside and outside, and didn't see any yellow or red dots. But I noted that they were made in Poland.

To find those tires, search by manufacturer (Bridgestone)and size. I'm going to do that now, to see if there are any left.

There is only one set left!

CORRECTION
This Bridgestone Potenza Sport tire is not all-season. It is a Maximum Performance Summer Tire.

I got confused because I was searching for all-season tires when I found this sale. No problem for me, and I actually prefer the summer tire.

In case you didn't know, Tire Rack is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Discount Tire. On December 4, 2021, Discount Tire acquired all the stock of Tire Rack for an undisclosed amount.

I got my 19" set for $570 back in June. Had all the proper sidewall dots etc. Love them and they're a screaming deal!

Although Tire Rack says those Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires are on clearance because they were manufactured in 2020, I received front tires with an 0322 date code (3rd week of 2022) and rear tires with a 2321 date code (23rd week of 2021).

The Direct Tire near me offers mobile tire installation. It was worth the extra $50 to have them installed in my driveway instead of having to make 2 trips to their store to have them installed.
