Awesome! We dont get them here, though I've seen a couple that have been imported and then converted to RHD. They would fetch over $150K. But with the departure of our local car manufacturing I think that GM will be bringing in the Corvette as a halo car which will be a big thing for us. Something to do with the Corvette being easier to manufacture as a RHD than the Camaro. Anyway, when it happens I'd be keen to get one exactly like that.

Richard,
I hope you enjoy it as much as your XKR and Cayman and look forward to reading your 3-way comparison review. I suspect that the C7 will be the overall best value winner, but the XKR will take the prize for best-looking and you're "still crazy (about her) after all these years".

I my opinion the new 2015 Corevette has great value for what you get.
MSRP on this one was $63,010, and paid $56,038.83. For this price it is hard to believe.
As for comparisons to the Jaguar XKR, Porsche Cayman 981 and the Corvette, they are all different. One thing I can say, GM built a great American 2 seater sports car. It is awesome.
New vanity license plate will be: 2FAST4U

After racing open wheel open cockpit F1000 Formula cars for 10 years, my need for speed is now over.
With 475 HP in this non-supercharged Corvette, I don't need any more.
Keep in mind, "The older you get, the slower you go".

This Corvette C7 will NEVER see a track, and will never see a dragstrip.

Great color for a Vette. I just left the Detroit Auto Show. They had the new Z06 convertible, gorgeous. Great article on the Z06.
Z06 Corvette an awesome blend of power, poise
But the show stopper is the Ford GT.
