Welcome to the club. Did you put a bed in the garage so you could bond with it?

Congrats, you're gonna love it.
Pretty funny how we have to find the one we want in another part of the country, as I bought mine, sight unseen also, and had it shipped from Oregon to Illinois.
Guess you helped load-balance the country, by returning an XK to the Pacific Northwest!

I bought mine the same way - off the internet. It is really amazing what you can do these days. I did my entire transaction by texting on my phone while on the train heading home. Here is a breakdown:

1. Saw car ad pop up in my browser on my phone for a mint 2007 British Racing Green Coupe XK in Florida [I am in New Jersey]
2. Tapped on my phone> 'Buy Now' and bought it [price was great so I had no desire to negotiate]
3. It prompted me how do I want to pay, I tapped 'Finance and fill out some basic info'
4. Wells Fargo approved me immediately [I have an 800 credit score so no surprise here]
5. Copy and pasted the VIN and added it to my Geico insurance through my phone [then emailed the dealer my insurance info via phone]
6. Sent an email to the Car carrier and paid via PayPal to ship it to my house from Florida to New Jersey
7. It was at my house in 48 hours.
8. I put zero money down.

Done. It doesn't get better than this. God Bless Technology.
