Thought this deserved its own thread... Just got in a set of springs from Spires. During the purchase process, I had the following conversation:
Given that this is going on a 2012 5.0 XKR, and you have the springs labeled for fitment on UP TO 2010 cars (2012 had a re-design), I'll let you know if anything looks strange or fitment is off. I don't expect an issue since at least 1 other forum member had success on his 2012, but I'll confirm. It's probably a good idea to update the product description with my findings.

To be honest, I need to update the website with the springs I’ve sent you. What you have is a brand new product specifically for 5.0SC variants so will be perfect. We only launched the product in June. By all means, please let me know how you get on but I envisage all will go to plan.
The non specific R version spring is approximately the same stiffness as the standard R springs. So whilst it would lower the car and return a sporting feel, doesn't give the stiffness most customers would expect. The newly developed R specific spring is 15% stiffer so not only lowers the car but gives it a more sporting character. Comfort is retained because we opted a circa 20mm drop rather than 35mm+ as other brands have done in the past.

So there you have it... I'm not sure if anyone else has these installed?? I may be the 1st to purchase them since they only launched a few months ago. Will update with photos when they finally go on the car.

I can't speak to the specific springs you're ordering, but I have the Spires "Comfort Suspension" package on my XF and absolutely love it. One thing tho you might consider if yours has the hard foam upper spring isolators is to order new ones to install with the new springs if the package doesn't include them. My kit came only with the lower isolators. The original foam isolators had conformed to the original springs and while they eventually settle in, mine had some creaking noises on one corner that wouldn't go away. I tried several times sort of re-orienting the spring and isolator but it finally took a brand new isolator to silence it. On the XF, it was only like a $35 part on RockAuto so if I had it to do over again, I'd replace all the spring isolators in the first place. Good luck.
