Update: Got a call this morning from service advisor, new engine is in, advisor says that the mechanic said everything went as planned, but decided that a hose needed to be replaced which was ordered and is expected tomorrow, once that is installed they should be test driving vehicle tomorrow. So it is possible that we could have vehicle back by the end of the week, fingers crossed...

Meet my wife at dealership during lunch to pick up F-Pace... She is purring like a kitty and the car sounds great to... Looks like they did a pretty expansive job, I have a parts list nearly two pages long... All that was required was a signature... That is standing by your product...

Went through the same journey with the LR. In the end, couldn’t be more pleased. Glad you’re up and running. Also glad the dealership has your back.

I have the same F-Pace S in silver over red/black. Never liked SUVs, but there wasn't anything else worth considering with Jaguar when it came time for my XJ lease return in December 2019. For some reason I felt obliged to stay loyal to the brand. Still don't like it. Ridiculous 22" wheels that will probably bend/crack over potholes, with harsh ride for no benefit and extremely expensive tires come replacement time, cheap interior, high CG, overpriced for what it is, compromised outward visibility (at least give me that in an SUV). Compared to my 3 XFs, an XJ, and XKR, this low-rent interior is a sad joke. My bad.
Even my wife's 2013 Volvo XC70 T6 daily driver has so much nicer of an interior to spend time in.

Wow, haven't been on the forum for a while and missed your whole saga. Can I ask which dealer in DFW out of curiosity? Glad to read they took care of you. As I type this, I'm simultaneously getting an oil change on my XK at the Frisco dealer while also trying to squeeze out whatever warranty work I can get done on it as I approach the last week of my extended warranty.

Vehicle is at Dallas Jaguar, but Dallas and Frisco are sister dealers, same owner... I have had good luck with the XKR at Frisco, which is where I bought the XKR. But Dallas is way closer to me...

Hmm didn't know that. Kind of surprising then that there's such a big differential in their service pricing. I suppose it's all about location. Luckily, I'm closer to Frisco anyway, but as I recall an oil change is over 25% more at the Dallas dealer.

I got mine CPO from Park Place in DFW. One heck of a deal, right next to my Brother in law. I never dealt with their service department.

Park Place used to be minutes away from me, but they moved to a fancy new facility and are now the furthest away from me.
