Default New Wheels for 2012 XK

Greetings. Just bought new wheels to replace my 19" Caravela wheels. Settled on Niche Veronas in the stock size. Offset a bit different, 35mm front and back. Serves to push the wheels out a little bit. I'm very happy with them:

Very nice. My last 2013 XKR was sold in Seattle after the Jaguar dealer bought it from the guy I sold it to in Vancouver, Canada. I sold it in 2015. A black coupe in mint condition. I'm partial to black XKR Jaguars. Did you replace the front grill with a chrome one and remove the "R" badge? I thought it was a 2011 until I took attention to the headlights.

Thanks. Wish I had an XKR... This is just an XK with the older style R valance and quad tips.

He has quad pipes but, unless the reflection is hiding the hood louvres, I think it is a straight XK. A little hybridization is often in order as I have my XK up on the lift right now putting XKR shocks on. Don’t worry, I won’t put on an R badge just because I have green shocks. 🙂

The car looks great. I’m partial to black on these cars as I think it really brings out the shape. 🙂

Thanks! I was looking for Silver, but this one-owner car with 18k miles was too nice to pass-up. Love the black, but keeping it clean and swirl free in Seattle is such work!! Haven’t driven it in two weeks due to the weather!

Motorcycles, boats, and convertibles; in Seattle this is definitely the “off” season in my view. 🙂 Mine’s an ‘07 so a bit older than yours, so I always planned on winter being the season of “projects” to fix up the worn out stuff. In fact I prefer the newer front that yours has but couldn’t find any in that age range that actually neeeeded me to fuss with them when the weather is bad.

Wow, only 18k miles! She must be like new. Great find. 🙂

Agreed.. I'm a native Floridian and have had convertibles all my life. Can't live without one, even here. I'm lucky to have a heated 3-car garage so this car can sit-out the winter inside. It is mint... Except... The owner is 80 years old, and the driver's door edge has numerous chips from opening to door into his garage wall. Its been touched up (poorly) but actually can't be seen by the casual observer. I'll probably have it sprayed in the summer. Here's a shot at the interior. Wife loves the tan. This is the first of my cars she actually wants to drive.

When I seen the quad pipes I just assumed it was an XKR. Sure is a nice looking car and the wheels look great.

I think we share interiors except for the wood...
