You need to get an Apple 30pin to lightening adapter. Best to make sure it is a genuine Apple adapter, some have had trouble with the non-Apple ones.

Welcome, looks to be in great shape, you will love it.
As KJ said, there is no cable for the lightning, you will need to get an adapter. I bought one on ebay for cheap, it would not work. Borrowed a buddies genuine Apple 30pin to Lightning adapter and it worked great, so lesson learned. Bought my own and it works perfect. I have since moved on to the wireless tune2air WMA1000. Great device but it does not work for every car for some reason. My first XK was totalled and it the tune2air would not work at all. With my replacement XK (same year same model) works perfect.
FYI, the ebay Lightning extension cable did not work with my car either! I could not find one from Apple so was out of luck on that avenue.

The iPod adapter became standard equipment with the 2009 model (North America 4.2L) to add steering wheel and infotainment screen controls for iPod music. Shortly thereafter, a dealer-installed accessory Audio Connectivity Module became available for 2007 and 2008 models. The first version of the OEM Jaguar cable was playback only, and did not simultaneously charge and play. That was remedied with the second version cable. Other aftermarket cables might not work. I use a Scosche adapter with my first generation cable that enables it to simultaneously charge and play since it was much less expensive than the Jaguar second generation cable. Search this forum for "Scosche" for details.

Welcome. New XK owner here as well. Wondering about the Ipod connector for an iPhone6 also. I would rather stream music via BlueTooth so I'm trying to see if I could find some sort of Bluetooth to USB adapter.... If not I'll try that Scosche solution mentioned above.
Enjoy the car!! ! I know I am!
