Default New XKR owner in Dallas

I posted this over in the new member thread but thought I would put it here as well since this is where I hang out most of the time.

Hi! My name is kelly and I have been coveting a XKR for quite some time! Today my Husband and I purchased my dream car, a 2011 XKR coup in ultimate black with ivory stitched warm charcoal interior. Its getting the windows tinted monday and I get to pick her up on Tuesday. I have a feeling the next few days are going to go slow...

Welcome! You must be married to a great guy to get him to purchase such fine automobiles!

Welcome to the forum and wish you many years of trouble free enjoyment of this wonderful machine.

My goodness; what will your lady friends think when they see you pull up in that XKR???

Yes, I have an amazing husband who loves cars, especially fast ones... He is about to have a twin turbo gallardo that will do 0-60 in about 2.5, so he needed to step up my car so I have a chance of making the same light he does when following!
And sadly none of my girlfriends are into cars. When I tell them 0-60 in 4.2 they respond with, "so...is that like, good?"

Is this the same car you got in January, and were doing 0-60 4.4's? Or another one?

Havebook- its the same car. I haven't tried to improve my time. Going to the R academy next week maybe I'll learn something!

Evoking- we will definitely have to meet up.
