Update: Wanted a cleaner look that filled fenders but wanted to retain the stock, understated exec flagship presence. I love the look of a turbine wheel on a sedan because it somewhat vanishes when spinning and therefore is quite elegantly understated.

Did some research and found that if I'm willing to go staggered the 03+ SL55 AMG wheels could work. The previous owner had powdercoated these a smokey gray which is even more understated. I must say it fills fenders nicely!

Looks interesting, but not too bling - nice balance.

Excellent choice. I am glad you resisted the urge towards ultra low profile tires. Looks great and tasteful.

Thanks guys. Btw, low maintenance is actually a key reason I got them. They are powdercoated smoke gray. The color of brake dust!
