Default New Year's Day Drive

Happy New Year!

Yesterday after a great Tex-Mex lunch, the sun came out…the temperatures kept rising…my itch for a drive got the best of me. The top went down and my gf and I went for a 100 mile afternoon cruise. It was 80(f)…little traffic on the Texas Hill Country Back Roads.

I wanted to check out one of my old favorite watering holes that has recently sustained a major, devastating fire…I’m really sad to see this and hope that the owner ‘Billy’ can get it together again.

I lived in Austin for a bit. I was actually surprised by how many nice driving roads there were up in the hills.
