My advise to any" new to jag" buyer that is on a budget is to find a car like mine, it was a high miler (90k) from a reliable dealer with a few cosmetic flaws. Mine had a worn steering wheel, console lid don't stay closed and a few other things. Why I say this is because it will always have the Jag driving experience which is second to none! I had put about 100 miles on my car before I started feeling comfortable in it and started taking corners a little faster. I have had my xk for close to ten years and would like to upgrade soon. It has been great getting the car at at a super low price and to be able to change/modifiy the pieces that needed to be changed. Now with some years and milage under my belt in the worlds best automobile I can be a more fussy on my next purchase. And you know it will be another JAAAAAG! But of course half the fun will be getting it for a bargain.
