Anyone have a name for their car? I went with Athena. The redhead Goddess of war. I frequently tell my wife "how hard I drive Athena". She doesn't think it's as funny as I do. Tell us your nickname.

My wife nicknamed mine ‘Naggy’, as it’s the first car we owned that nagged you about seat belts.

I've named several vehicles in the past. I have an idea that I'm probably going to move overseas in a few years and have to give this car up, so I wouldn't want to become too attached.

That's not to say I haven't considered it. To be amusing, I might go with something boring and very unlike the XKR, something like Stanley.

While I watch a lot of Japanese media, I'm not brave enough to name my car after an anime catgirl.

Mine is called Grace, after Grace Kelly, because she is classy and super sexy!

Add "space and pace" and you have the original description of a Jag.

We nicknamed our first Jag (black 2001 XJR) "Bad Kitty". We acquired vanity license plates - now those are on our 2008 XKR Portfolio - 'BADKTTY'. Frequent comments on the car and the license plates.

Oddly enough, mine is called Saber Athena. Cause she's fast and wicked. The F250 is Gipsy Danger, cause she's fast and a brawler

Mine's "007". Yeah not technically the right car but close enough. I don't have one yet (for this car) but let's see those vanity plates!

I never got the whole naming cars thing, but my brother sort of christened the XJ8 "Annabelle" because I keep threatening to sell it every time something breaks on it (which seems to be all too frequent since its gotten to be over 20 years old). Anyone old enough may remember a series of Midas muffler commercials that ran in the 70s the 80s where an old man kept bringing his Model A Ford back in for a free replacement muffler under their lifetime warranty. One of the Midas mechanics asks "Aren't you ever going to sell this car?" And the old man replies, "I'd never sell Annabelle."
