O2 sensors won't "READY" for emissions test
I went to register the XKR and of course I was stupid and disconnected the batter about a week before I went to the shop, so of course the Emissions Status was NOT READY yet, since only about 20 miles since Disco.
Well, I drove 114 miles in the suggested manner so of course I figured all would be well, and well, well it wasn't. I figured the EVAP would take awhile, but I've never had the O2 Readiness never "Ready" after like 20 miles.
Got into Torque and picked all whopping 3 O2 parameters that were available and this is what I have............ are those signals proper? It seems wrong to me, more Pulse than Digital, and weird anyway. Note the RPM in the graph above it:
The entire internet is void of anything I could find on it, course I don't know what good Search Parameters would be good for finding this out.
My Bank 2 Long Term Fuel Trim is -3 when it was totally flat before, but that isn't much but may be of note in this situation. I dunno.
I'm an old Analog guy and all this stupid electric stuff is a pain in my butt.
Torque Pro has those stupid "MID" tests and I have a bunch of fails, but can't find info on those anywhere, and most seem to be "Bank 4 Sensor 1&2". Yeah, OK.
Any help or info on this?

"Low battery!!!"
"New" battery doesn't mean "charged" battery. (inside joke)
Since nothing changed except sitting for a week after disconnecting the battery, maybe all you need is to drive it more to reset everything. I'd add a can of fuel cleaner - either 6BG44K or Techron by Chevron - and see if that helps.

I had to drive my 08 XK 210 miles to get the sensor to show up on state inspection.inspector told me to keep driving till it went on

Bad part....... my registration expired yesterday, so I'll have to get a Temp before I try again. AND, since I was out of country for almost two weeks, the retest has to be paid for again.
Oh well for me.
But about those Sensor readings....... are they supposed to jump around that much?

my old saab used to be finicky in this situation. the first time, i had to do the entire drive cycle three times for a total of about 250 miles. another time it readied in probably just 20 miles, without even properly finishing the first cycle (although i did hit all of the individual rpm/load ranges). unfortunately i never found the root problem.

After 135 miles the O2 sensors finally Ready Upped. The EVAP is still playing around, but one Not Ready is good enough for a PASS on emissions. I've never had to wait so long before, in any vehicle.
SO, registered for another year. NEXT time I won't disco the battery a week before the registration expires. Oh, and D/S O2 voltages are still bouncing around. I'll worry about that if I get a CEL or a fuel trim problem.
