I updated the ADU with the new firmware supplied by Bob and as barnsie I had to install the drivers first.
Perfect fit and really is a 10 second plug and play.It took longer to take the parts out of the packaging
Tried to take a picture from drivers point of view

Of all items that were shipped to Canada and US, only one now has the status "arrived in destination country" which is the one of Marc Voorhees.
Concerning the drivers for the device, you can install those already.
To do this, the device doesn't have to be connected to your computer.

Our quasi state sponsored postal systems are still backed up. Some items get delivered quickly others can take 8 weeks.

When I first connected my ADU to my Windows 10 PC I ran the updater for my engine (4.2), as described by Bob.
The updater opened a window but this is what I got:
Pressing any key terminates the program.
I then downloaded the Windows driver using Bob's link. The download took a few seconds and the installation similarly. I did not reboot the PC.
I then ran Bob's updater again, and the ADU was found this time. I then just followed Bob's on-screen instructions in the updater program window. After a few seconds the program reported that the update was finished.
The only slight confusion was that Bob initially said that W10 has the necessary driver built-in, but my W10 clearly didn't. I would suggest that everyone update the W10 driver anyway. It can do no harm to do so and it only takes a second or two. If you do this before you receive the ADU then you will be all set when it arrives.

I downloaded the drivers to ensure they are updated or installed on my PC running windows 10. The following is a screen shot of the zip file. It contains 2 install app files. Which one do I execute for the install?
EDIT: Ooops. I just read the readme file for documentation. There are 2 install files. One is named for 64 bit OS and the other is for 86x. I installed the 64bit version of the divers on my PC. I'm ready to go to install the update when Bob's ADU arrives.

You can find out what type of machine you have from Windows Control Panel. Unless your machine is pretty old, chances are it's 64 bit,
Bob posted while I was typing.

Another update
Driving around at night, I noticed when passing street lights, the display of the device flickers, which I found to be annoying.
So I updated the firmware again, which smooths out the change in brightness of the display.
Now downloadable from my website.
EZ-updater from now on uses the previous mentioned ZIP-method:
- connect device to computer (micro USB cable)
- download EZ firmware ZIP file
- unzip the ZIP file
- go into the unzipped folder
- double click the "firmware.bat" file
- follow the on screen directions.
Be sure not to run the "firmware.bat" file from within a WinRAR window.
Shipping:
This morning I saw a lot of tracking info showing "arrived in destination country"....
