I do agree the 2012 facelift was much improved over the 2010 facelift, and the 2010 lift was much improved over the 2007, so it just kept getting prettier.
I would gladly trade straight-up for a '12+ convertible.

-S fronts are gross, no denying that. I'll stick with an /R, especially since it's SUPER easy to give the /R ECM an -S tune for those missing horsies.
The rest of the -S package, like suspension and stuff, guess I'll miss those.

*Waves from Aberdeen*

Very nice! Pretty sure it's not an XKR-S though? Whereabouts in Scotland are you?

The XKR-S is it's brother from another mother! It has a face that only its mother can love.

Good catch! I intentionally used that photo because it was fishy! Here's the real deal, and it still looks like a catfish.

Non-symmetrical steering wheel controls would bug my irrational self.

Cee Jay has a 2010 XKR, which was the first 5.0L model and the only year that Adaptive Cruise Control was standard equipment on an XKR. ACC was a $2,200 option on all 4.2L models, including the 2008 and 2009 XKR Portfolios. It's easily identified by the two rotary controls on the right side of the steering wheel.

I don't think ACC was ever standard equipment, my own 2010 model-year car doesn't have it. Maybe it was standard in the US though, not sure.

Jaguar Land Rover North America is headquartered in Mahwah, New Jersey. It's not called Jaguar USA for a reason.
https://media.jaguarlandrover.com/en...n-headquarters

To be exact, ACC was standard equipment on 2010 model year North American market XKR coupes and convertibles, which includes Canada and Mexico. Cars shipped by the factory to Canada are not exactly the same as the identical US model.

Is that why Cee Jay's water pump has lasted so long?
