Yeah, I wondered that as I typed the post, hence the second sentence Thanks for confirming, that's an interesting one.

Not my cup of tea either...always a turn-off for me, even on white cars.
I'm all about nice, shiny silver...maybe not as shiny as chrome though, but silver rims are the sweet spot for me.

Whether or not someone likes your personal effect is not important, the fact you have a taste for something "different" and are willing to show the world your not a hum drum type guy but rather someone who don't fit into some special mold is cool. A small addition like your leaper shows you can add a little personal touch to your car to show your car is more than transportation from a-b. I'm a critic from an early age,I've always noticed small personal changes in cars especially ones that I've owned and know better than the ones I haven't. It makes my day when I see small changes, to someones car, that I can notice and has become a mission of mine to alter my ride enough to catch someone else's eye. Like changing from boring woodgrain to carbon fibre for my dash. A year ago I bought a Ford f350 as I needed a truck around the farm. I found the truck was to high to get things out of the box so I lowered it 4" in the rear and 2 1/2 in the front and I get lots of looks and comments but in the end I did it for me. I like your idea of a running light in your leaper, have you tried to hook it up as a brake light? Maybe the factory third brake light on the spoiler would over power it? Anyway you got my thumbs up.

Randy

I don't mind the light-up LED leaper. It's a bit bright for me though, I'd tend to keep it on the same plane as the tail lights and not as a stop lamp. Course, if it was large enough to meet requirements, used AS the CHMSL and get rid of the spoiler mounted one. Both together are overkill.

Well, you asked... Neat idea, but can't say I like it.

Actually, I'm not a fan of the Leaper at all (though I won't bother to take mine off)... I like symmetry, particularly in the middle of the car.

Wouldn't you also need an "XK" on the left boot and a "KX" on the right side?
