Correct, they are early F Type wheels. I don’t expect everyone to like them… that’s one of the great things this forum brings about: A place to learn about and view parts and mods for a fairly rare Jaguar, the opportunity to connect with others interested not only in Jaguar automobiles but any era and model you care about, the possibility of meeting or at least communicating with other like minded enthusiasts somewhere near your area of the world, and more. All without (for the most part) the self proclaimed (and sometimes ill informed) experts from BaT and the infighting that is seen between different era cars in some forums.

they look GREAT on the Jag!I was thinking about going with a set of F-Type wheels at 1st too until I decided to go all out with some custom made ones. The Jaguar wheels are designed to look nice only on their sport car designs.Seems like it's nothing but more of an update for the wheels when they ended production of the XK and provided this new look for the F-Types

I have the chromed arturas that came with the car. It was actually an expensive option. When I got the car I didn’t liked them a bit. I do like them now, specially the riding comfort (they are 19) but the 20 looks definitely better. Didn’t know you could use F Type wheels on the xk.

Let the mods begin!!!!! First off today, I got a package from the UK and inside was a brand new center console arm rest/cubby lid in ivory. My car has a Ivory/Charcoal interior....and its just too damn dark. Found this gem on ebay for $41 plus shipping. Did I mention its NEW? 10 minutes later and Its already looking brighter.
Ran some errands and came home to another box of goodies from the UK......a nice set of turned aluminum dash inserts. I have the grey wood (dont know the name of the wood), but again its too dark. Easy, reversible mod. Totally transforms the dash. Dont know if ill keep it like this but its a nice change. Im fairly crafty so I might get another set that is dinged up and refurbish them in Holly, Magascar or Zebra wood with a matte sheen.

Enlarge my photo to see my interior mods (left-to-right), including the R logo footrest, charcoal Leaper logo floormats (originals are Ivory with Ivory leather binding and are impractical; I have them); paddle shifter extensions; Ivory seat stuffers, wireless backup camera in the ashtray, Leaper logo on the shift knob, passenger eject button, and R logo above the glove box. Not shown are the OEM Jaguar XK sunshade and Growler logo puddle lights.

I suspect that a previous owner replaced the original Ivory center console lid with a black lid. Good find on the new lid. Here's mine, with a few mods:

There is a guy on Ebay selling console lids/armrests in almost every stock color new for $41. I just picked it up because it was a no brainer. Im still on the hunt for Navy carpet, but if thats a bust, Im going for the same color carpet as yours as I dont like dark interiors and anything is better than black. I was at Jag yesterday and they said navy carpets were NLA.

Where did you acquire the R Logo dead pedal? Leapers embroidered mats?
Passenger eject? 🙄
Please and thanks.

Plan B
My center armrest is like new, except for a small area in the middle that shows some wear. I decided to re-dye that spot and ordered this from England. It's currently in customs in New York, and I'll let you know how it works. It cost $29.94 delivered.

Dont forget to use a clear coat like the factory. Otherwise the dye will come off in a month or so. Leather dye is super easy to use and very gratifying. I did my wifes old Vanden Plas (NED) and she was blown away.
