OIL: WSS-M2C945-A vs WSS-M2C925-A

My point about Vietnam is that it wasn't always the stereotype that Hollywood made it out to be.

For the love of Mike shut this stupid thread down. How did devolve from oil wars to fricken politics? Gents, just go out to the General section and have your political opinions:
There's an American Politics thread
American Politics in a nutshell thread
Covid opinionated thread
Covid Facts thread
Memorial Day thread (which thankfully no one disrespected)
Memorial Day 2020 thread (which thankfully no one disrespected)
A Jokes thread that's 90% politics
And now for some reason, Tata Motors "rumored" to ask for a loan from the British Government turned into a political thread. (thank God Grant moved it from here.)
And that's not counting the additional few that some have tried to start and Norri killed them.
What does any of it have to do with your X150?
You guys are great and very helpful when we're talking cars but this helps no one. I'm stuck in my damn house with little else to do. If I wanted to watch cable news wars I'd subscribe to cable. Sorry for the rant. I just think we're all better than this and I don't want to jump over to the Brit version of this forum.

I think for a lot of people the X150 section IS the forum so conversations tend to stray a bit.
I used to only follow it but now also keep an eye on the XF, F Type and X351 forums as they have similar technology. I don't have the time or the inclination to follow any of the others.

I cancelled my early March ski trip at my daughter's insistence and have been sheltering in place ever since to avoid other people except my wife. We use Instacart for all our groceries, cook all our meals at home, and I avoid my neighbors when I go for walks in the neighborhood. I can't go to to the gym like I used to, and this Forum has become a therapeutic connection with others.
After three months of sheltering in place, I now realize that I have been living inside a rerun of Groundhog Day. This Forum has helped me retain my sanity. Or has it? I'll know after I get the vaccine.
I suspect that I am not alone, and there are other high risk Forum members just like me.

Exactly, particularly during the pandemic.

And if you're going to make me wait in a queue to be seated, it had better be significantly better than my cooking. (Rarely it is)
Stay well @Stuart S , and All!
Now go pamper your xk... there, we are back onto cars ;-)

I'm surprised that you are so insensitive on the day after Memorial Day and would post a photo of the worst mass murderer in history.
I get it, but it became a sick joke when you used him to compare our disagreements about motor oils to starting another World War.
I hope we're still friends, but I had to call you out on this.

Even if Hitler wasn't "the worst mass murderer in history", that doesn't change anything. Didn't he and his **** Master Race systematically murder enough innocent people for you? Refusing to condemn Hitler is tantamount to supporting him.
You could have apologized and that would have been the end of it. But no, you chose not to.
By calling me out in defense of your using Hitler to make your point is further proof of your insensitivity and tells us exactly who you really are.

Why just 2 liters of oil??
Bit late to be supporting him.
The picture I posted of a Mercedes showroom, proves your point they worshiped him.
Buy British. Use British oil.

Oh, jeezuz cripes. How about we all forget about stuff NOT related to this thread and just press on?
OR, how about closing this thread because there are ALREADY seventy-bagillion other oil threads already?

No need for a vitrolic reply as am deleting myself from this forum and wont be posting again

Even though you didn't post the photo of Hitler, you brought it back up. That was enough to warrant my reply. I understand why you decided to leave the Forum rather than apologize.

New Oil Standard
GF-6 Is the new oil standard for modern cars. Cars built before this standard became enacted (2020) should spec GF6-A as it is backwards compatible.
The GF-6A standard encompasses oil that ILSAC designated to be backward compatible, which means GF-6A covers the current API SN oil viscosities of 0W-20, 5W-20, 5W-30, and 10W-30
Read more on the new standard here.
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/f...ty-oil-231365/
Look for the American Petroleum Institute Seal as shown here for the correct spec oil. This spec supersedes previous API specs for performance, wear & mileage.

Dude, you should have started a new (GADS, another Oil Thread!) thread as this one turned into a big lump of stupid and should be forgotten.
