Oppisite Lock

Had not driven the Jaguar much this summer.
Entered corner with the inputs of vehichle possessing rear mounted gear box.
Sudden realization of rear end lightness following turn in.
Rotation much greater than follow through.
Rapid correction bumped oppisite lock.
Surprised from feedback through steering wheel for correction.
Prior expectation that strong power steering deadened feedback.
Need for oppisite lock through hands was felt.
Moment for straightening of steering input through hands was felt.
Fishtail into trees Jaguar did not.
Wish for home skidpad to practice more is now expressed.

Visit trees past uneven green avoided.
Lock achieved where steering travel terminates.
Oppisite lock achieved when rotation countered by maximum steering.
Happy finding big cats suspension provided feedback.
Avoided unpleasant outcome from unintended hyper dynamic rotation from corner entry.

If car great oppisite lock avoided on public two way blacktop alltogether.
Instead tribute payed to single aspect previouslly not known by operator.
Proper steering feedback unexpected yet welcomed.
Must spend time on blacktop non public to better relearn inferior balance of ebon feline.
Forwards tires on decelerating entry bite with fang and claw.
Aft tires bitumen merely scratch allowing escaped prey.

Or perhaps he was writing an Elizabethan sonnet at the time of driving and it distracted him?

Barry, you are close.
There is a NPC in a Star Wars PC game called Kraay.
He has similar dialogue.
Marky, what I was thinking is that the big pick up truck in my rear view mirror hadn't slow down even a few seconds after I put my left turn blinker on.
As a consequence I did not slow down when making a turn onto the side road as much as I otherwise would have done.
I went in hot, the Z06 would have made it stick. With the Jaguar I was looking at the road ahead using the side window.
I guess it still made it, just now in the manner I would have wanted.
The other side of it, at least I didn't get rear ended.
AC was out, and I was disinclined to bring the Jag into the city to get it worked on.
had I been driving the Jaguar more the last few months I would have gone into that turn differently.
I need practice to make the balance of the car a part of me again.

Personally having midi-chlorian levels in excess of 21,000 I find your comments highly offensive![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
This is from a man who was at the UK premier 27th Dec 1977 (courtesy of my Mum/Mom knowing some of the gay actors that appeared as extra's) and, with them not being into 'Sci-Fi' and, having no faith the film would be a success, gave away their tickets![Big Grin](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

And what did you think of it?
I first saw it as a VHS on not so large CRT.
I'm sure a movie theater live for the first time has the potential to have been amazing.
Personally I can see why the low expectations were made by extras, compare to period or previous "space" films.
A lot of them were booooring, had kooky music, horrible effects both sound and visual.
Some things set Star Wars apart:
Instead of "the future", it was told as "a long time ago."
The soundtrack, both music and sound effects.
The story didn't obsess with the technolegy.
Amazing talent with crafting the models and filming them.
The way they did a moving camera matched to the fall speed of exploding models to make their explosions in the death star trench was an amazing peice of work.
I know it came out that way sort of, but I didn't have no intention of trying to be offensive.I just thought it was kind of funny and sounded like Yoda the way he says things in the back of the sentence that belongs in the front of each sentence.Sometimes, you have to decipher the meaning lol
At this point I'm more reminiscent of the older content and not enthused over more recent or current.
I guess when there were less pixels and less disk space more care was taken to make each one count.

Since we're reminiscing, I was in college at the time. Skipped classes one day and bought a ticket for the first showing of the day. I was mesmerized. Movie theaters weren't crowded then, so I sat through four showings with my one ticket!
