You could always do something like this, but the picture is before I replaced the orange bulb for one of those sparkly silver ones from a different thread, so ignore the orangey tint. I'm referencing the orange reflector in this case:
While the reflections and contrast on this photo turned out better than I'd thought, it's only 10% headlight tint film over the housing. I did the brake lights also and it turned out great.
Thanks a lot for the idea @ceejay
I didn't know such things exists.
On your photo it appears it's hiding the ugly orange reflector very well. Would you confirm?
Overall it also makes the headlight more modern as it darken the grayish plastic around the bulbs chromed housings.
Would you have other photos??
I think I might give it a try. It really improve the look and as mine is Botanical green it might work too.

Yeah, I have a couple pics somewhere... The lighting affects the look a bit, but I think it looks much more uniform and not as gaudy with darker lenses, front and back. I did leave the center spoiler red lens untouched. You know, for safety.
It’s a requirement in the US, amber side marker lights or reflectors in the front, and red side markers in the rear. There’s at least one thread where it has been changed or covered, by baking the headlight open to access it.
Thanks .
But where are these reflectors on the facelift (post 2011) one then?
I searched the forum but didn't find anything .
I remember in the early 2000's tuners used to sell such stuff to replace original orange ones with "cristal" ones... But the XK is too rare and probably too old and haven't find anything on the market.
