2009 XKR Portfolio with 20 inch Selena wheels with Shadow Gray finish. Unfortunately I got too close to a curb and picked up a bit of road rash on a wheel. I have been looking for some Shadow Gray wheel color ever since without success. Not ready to call the dealer and was hoping some one could direct me. Please advise.

I've tried touch-up paint made by several different companies, but the best, in my opinion, is Touch Up Paint and Accessories | AutomotiveTouchup. They match your Jag's color exactly and offer their products in aerosol paint cans, 2 oz. bottles of liquid paint and even touch-up 'pens'. Plus they offer a variety of automotive sand paper, etc. I do not have any affiliation with that company, other than being a very satisfied customer for decades.

[QUOTE=michaelodonnell123;1374611]I think Hyper-silver from Dupli-color is a match. ... ]
No, it's too light. Hyper-silver may match other OEM Jaguar wheels but the XKR Portfolio Selena wheels are a darker color.
FWA, Are you certain that your Selena wheels are Shadow Gray? If you're not the original owner, you can't know for sure. It's common for dealers to have all 4 wheels refurbished as part of the reconditioning process. Your wheels might be hyper-silver since it is the most common color.
I agree with RedRider48. Use a mobile wheel repair service since they can match the color perfectly. Call some local new car dealers and ask the service manager who they use. Call them for price if you meet them at the dealer the next time they're scheduled to be there. Cost should be well under $100 for minor curb rash and take less than 20 minutes. It will cost a lot more to come to your house to do just 1 wheel.
Hope this helps.

No I'm not the original owner. I don't think the dealer refurbed the wheels as one of them had a minor stone chip on a spoke. But you could be right. I am referring to Shadow Grey only because that was the original OEM spec listed. It appears to a darker shade of metallic grey than the hyper silver but was willing to invest in a 2 oz bottle as its not a big scrape (i see it only because i know its there) however your probably right in just having a professional do it. I like your idea of scheduling when they are already at the dealer.
Thanks again for the advice.

As a result of this thread I looked at mobile wheel refinishing places on Yelp here in San Diego, seems there's a company with absolutely stellar ratings doing cars from Chevy's to Bugatti's. Steel. alloy, chrome, etc. Looks like he charges roughly $150 per wheel and judging by the before/after photos from clients his work does look amazing! I'll look into that when my next receivables check arrives. I'm good at DIY's and all things mechanical but I'll leave that one to the pro's
