Nice save indeed. I can see her wanting to disconnect them. My wife does not like to use the paddles and inadvertently hits one every once in a while. It's usually the downshift which can be startling when it happens unexpectedly!

I like the paddles so they will stay connected

It's technically hers. It was her 50th birthday present.

Default no S and no paddle shift

You got hold of a five-year-old thread. It may be better to ask again in a new thread.
Course, now that this one is activated again, I'm sure others will engage.
