Pairing Apple iPhone X with MY 07-09
This question is for anyone who has an 07-09 model year only please and bought either the apple iPhone X models or any of the iPhone 11 models. Did you have any difficulty pairing your phone to the car?
I'm looking to purchase an iPhone Xs Max so would like to know in advance from anyone who's purchased one and paired it with our models. I have the 07 MY but hav an 09 phone module.
Thanks Cee Jay, in advance for your sage advice on iPhones

Sean,
Although you received positive replies, there's only one way to know for sure. See if the Apple retailer will try to connect it before you buy it. If not, maybe one of the salespeople in the store owns that model and will see if it works.
Your XK is unique because of your touchscreen mods and Audio Connectivity Module, which might have affected Bluetooth (although I doubt it).

I've never had an iPhone bluetooth connectivity issue (knocks on wood). Currently running an XS model, and it works just fine.
Still kind of chapped I cannot pair my Apple Watch, though, for those times when I leave the house without the phone. It's a Series 4 with a cellular plan. Wish I could figure that one out.

Have you tried disabling the screen timeout on the touch screen? I paired quite a number of different iPhones to my 07 XKR from 3G's right through to my current 8 Plus with no issues and as far as I am aware it still had the original bluetooth module.
Android phones actually seemed to be more of an issue with the earlier XK's, e.g. they wouldn't sync the phone list or if they did it was just garbled.
