Unhappy Parking sensors 2008 XKR

Does any one know of a test on a parking sensor that is off the car, I have taken my front bumper off to inspect the wireing, and all the wires from the plug which connects to the car,and then to the plug that connets to the individual sensor has conitinuity. So I would like to now test the individual sensor.
They were all working fine until it went into a paint shop for and they removed the bumper and replaced it.
The paint shop is now closed due to isolation so I thought I would have a go at finding out what is wrong.

The first thing I'd do, because of the age of your XKR, is thoroughly clean all the electrical contacts with a spray cleaner designed for that purpose to make sure they're free of any corrosion.

Instead of the trial and error method, I'd get the diagnostic trouble codes and follow the repair procedures in the Workshop Manual. See the Sticky at the top of the first page of this Forum:
