PCV breather hose - discontinued part?

PCV breather hose - discontinued part?
Hi everyone. I have an audible vacuum leak coming from the PCV hose where it connects to the PCV valve. Seems the O-ring has worn and does not seal correctly anymore.
I cant seem to find the hose anywhere - PN AJ810273, see image below. Everyone keeps telling me its a discontinued part - not carried by Jaguar anymore.
Does anyone know where I can find it? Can I buy the connector separately? Anyone know the size of the O-ring in there? Thanks!

You may be able to get this one to work:
https://www.sngbarratt.com/us/#!/Eng...3-190607b4565d
If not, take the part off the vehicle and find metric o-rings to match.

Or try this site, seems to list it for $34.19:

I know the part is NLA for the X100's but there is a user who can make you the part:

kj07xk ... just like the other websites I went to, it's listed but a phone call confirmed they can't get one.
I ended up buying an assortment of O rings and replaced the single one on there. Lets hope it doesn't leak.
Replacing the entire hose seems like a task. Even with the resonator off I couldn't get my hand in there to reach the back connector.
Thanks for the help.

Good luck with the o-ring replacement, much cheaper repair!

I replaced the same o ring on my str. Bought a nice metric o ring kit from harbor freight for 10.00 dollars. Found it had the right one in it.. i also replaced the pcv valve for 30 dollars just for good measure. It has a diaphram that is hard to check condition on. Before repair vacuum at hose was 17 inhg. After repair vacuum is 20 in hg...both at idle...engine at operating temp...no accessories on for lowest idle possible. Hope this helps

Sorry, no. There is also a NormaV2 connected Breather Hose for the X100 that is also disconnected. The Norma Connectors are hard to get, but I acquired a decent number for a user who makes the hoses with the connectors. That is what that thread is about, you may be able get a custom hose made.

Thanks scottjh9, do you remember the size of the O-ring you used?
Tough to measure a worn O-ring diameter.
And the one I replaced it with looked correct but it is still leaking =/

So I guess I should mention the whole story here ...
After sitting at the airport for 2 weeks, I turn the car on and that's when the hissing noise started. Drove it home 2 hrs and left it overnight.
The next day I took the PCV valve out to inspect, put it back in and drive to work. On the drive to work the PCV valve decides to fail completely, and I burnt about a quart of oil on the 5 minute drive home. Most of the oil burning was during idle when vacuum is high, so i assume the PCV valve was stuck open (See pic 1 +2 ).
I replaced the valve, allowed any remaining oil to burn off, and it seemed ok. But the hissing noise was still there, so I decided to look at the O-ring and connector.
I fitted the connector with a new O-ring (pic 3). Got a bit quieter, but still hissing. So i cut a finger off a nitrile glove and fitted it over the connector and O-ring (pics 4 + 5). That made it quieter but still noticeable hissing.
My only option now is to wait till winter, remove the throttle body, change the spark plugs (pic 6) and either rig a custom hose on, or clean out the existing one and fit a new O-ring at the throttle body connection.
I also plan on replacing all my brake vacuum hoses since i get spongy brake pedal on startup sometimes. This could be another source of vacuum leak causing my intermittent P0101 code.
From what I hear this hissing noise is normal due to the hose construction, but I don't understand why it only started recently.
How do my spark plugs look at 60,000 miles?? Time to replace?? Are there intake gaskets that I can replace also?
I did run seafoam through the throttle after inspecting 1 spark plug, no black smoke though.
I will update again in a few months when I get to the 60,000 mile maintenance and parts arrive. For now I will drive on and live with it.

As said above, measure the O ring inside and cross section diameter to determine which one you need. I spent some time fighting this battle today at work. A handy chart to tell you which 2- size you need.
https://www.sealingdevices.com/o-rings-size-chart
Note the diameter, 1.78mm or 2.62mm will determine the outside diameter.
Good luck. Also note the red should be nitrile. Buna doesn't like petroleum based oils and will degrade. Parker is the big industrial supply house that has a ton of very good info but also very difficult to get legitimate part numbers from.

I believe a certain amount of hiss is normal. It is diaprahm operated and not a rattler that is most common. If it could not regulate vacuum and it went too high it could suck oil from the top of the valve train. On the flip side if it got stuck closed the crankcase pressure would build up and find a weak spot to leak from and potentially take some oil with it. Normally that spot would be a rear main or front timing cover seal. Check for any fresh oil leakage also. If you can hook a vacuum gauge into the hose at the valve and see what your reading is and if the needle stays steady that will tell you a lot about general engine condition. And yes it is hard to get to the other end of the hose. I had to take off the cowling by the windshield but it was worth it to get a good look at everything did not want to go blindly in with my big meathooks fumbling around and break an unseen connector or vacuum line

While I had the elbow and supercharger out, I decided to re-dsign the PCV hose. I cut the hose at a certain spot to make it easier to add a catch-can setup later.
The main part was to re-inforce the seal at the elbow. So I spent some time at pepboys in the hoses section to find the right size hoses. Found 1 that tapered perfectly and cut it to length.
I cut off the norma connector, shaved it down and kept the O-ring. Hopefully this prevents any possibility of leaks in the future.
Now I can easily add the catch can hoses when I'm ready, without having to remove the entire PCV hose. When that goes in I will most likely do the same to the PCV connector also.

As for your plugs, they are iridium, and typically good to 100K miles.
Showing just the one says very little unless all look identical. Odd that yours looks like dry soot (carbon fouling) rather than wet soot (oil fouling), am I seeing that right?
I would most definitely clean it with carb cleaner and soft brush regardless.
