Hi everyone... I have a Nokia 5310 phone that I dock automatically when I get into the car. However I can make one call and then the car phone will not dial another call. It shows on the screen that it is dialing but nothing happens. The interesting thing is that the person being called receives the call but hears nothing. I have to undock the phone and also turn the bluetooth on my handset off and then back on and then redock. Then I get one more call! Any help would be appreciated.

 

Go to this link, select your model, enter the last 6 digits of your VIN#, then select your phone. You can determine if your phone is fully compatible or not, and find out how to check your phone's software level.

It's the best way to find out if your phone might not work right with a Jag.

Thanks for your suggestion. The phone is not listed as an approved phone. but does everything the Nokia 5300 does which is approved. That is my 5310 does everything that Jag says the 5300 should do; except I can only make one call. Another interesting point is that I can accept any number of calls the only problem is that I can only make one call and then have to undock and start again if I want to make another call. I notice I have a later version of software available from Nokia, I will download that to the phone and try again... I will keep you posted.

 

I must report that my xk hasn't been able to connect to either my nokia 8800 carbon arte or to my motorola aura. It tries to connect and just says connection failed. I had no luck with some LG phones and etc.... no idea why jaguar has no chance connecting to my phones. I am surprised to see that either my audi A8 2009 or RR vouge 2008 have been working flawlessly with either phones....
