Potentially A Collectible?

The drawback with lighter interiors is the jeans fade. It's never ending battle wiping the dye off the leather. That is why blue leather is the best, lol!

I have no qualms about my dog being in the car or smoking an occasional cigar in my car. The car is for me to use and enjoy, and I sure am going to do both. That being said, I am quite respectful of my cars. I wash them once a week, go easy on the clutch, and maintain them as good as anyone could hope for.

As for my 2013 XJ, the interior is Cashew and Truffle, and the wood veneer is Gloss Burl Walnut (it's from the forest in Effing; that's why it's called Effing Burl). Since that veneer is a product of Mother Nature, it is unique and no two cars are exactly alike. All 4 door panels are well-matched, as is the veneer across the front of the dash. You get good wood from Effing thanks to Mother Nature!
I'm old school, and a Jaguar without wood veneer is like corned beef without cabbage!

Yes mate, when I was young, well younger, Jaguar was the only way to get a RR and Bentley interior, because you had to be an oil tycoon to own a RR/Bent, and particularly in London, where even the Jags were chauffeured.
Thats the point- Jaguar has a long heritage of crafting the finest interiors, at a time when the Germans, even Italians were making taxi grade interiors. Part of the reason for buying a Jaguar is the coachwork.
