Project: Lowering the front = FAIL
#22
You could sent an email to www.arden.de if they have a solution? I'm sure they have something!

I will take one of my factory springs that I removed and have one of the engineers at the office measure the exact length in mm of how much to cut off to get equal balance. and how much do you want it lowered? Remember you have to cut the top of the spring, not the bottom. If you look closely the spring is cone shaped. The narrow diameter ALWAYS is pointing down. NEVER pointing up (I didnt see the above post on the lenght to lower)

Again, I may be wrong, as looking at the spring on the mounted strut may not be what it looks like when taken out.

I never got to the point of having the springs in my hands, off the strut, but it appeared NOT to be cone-shaped. Just from what I had seen it had an open-coil lower end (as opposed to a flattened, upturned end). My expectations were to cut about 3/4 to one full turn from the bottom simply because the bottom sloping spring washer can be turned to any direction as required by the cut.
Again, I may be wrong, as looking at the spring on the mounted strut may not be what it looks like when taken out.

I put a post on a few months ago that showed all 4 springs off.
The front and rear are marked by the factory cause they are clearly different.
try and go back and find that post and you will understand.
Spring looks different when not under pressure of the body.
Maybe I should whip and beat you instead of Lothar52

I hate searching for posts so, I'll take your word for it. They sure look even sized (top to bottom) on the strut.
About that whipping and beating...??? Waiting...

Lots of whipping going on here the last few days.
Somebody is gonna be singing Rhianna soon......haha
Cause I may be bad
But I'm perfectly good at it
Sex in the air
I don't care
I love the smell of it
Sticks and stones
May break my bones
But chains and whips
Excite me
Na na na na na
Come on
Na na na
Come on
Come on
