2013 xkr. Has no spare just an inflator. Want to buy a used spare on eBay. They have 18" black ones and red ones for sale. I read that the Alcon brake style earlier models have to have the black colored spare because of the size of the calipers. Has anyone here bought a red one and fitted it on to the later model and checked if it fits? I'm hoping I can use the red one, there plentiful on eBay.

A 2013 XKR has the same brakes as my 2014 F-Type, 380 mm front and 376 mm rear.
My car came stock with a 19" red space saver spare and I have used it once on the front left, so that size/type will fit your XKR no problems.
I suspect an 18" space saver will not fit over your front brake calipers, I know normal 18" wheels do not fit.
The specs of my spare are:
Wheel - 4J X 19 X 0MM
Tyre - Pirelli T 135/70 R 19 105 M
Also embossed on the inner wheel are these codes, no idea what they mean:
black 9W83-1007-RA
red DX2M-1007-GA
Edit - after a little searching I found one, count 'em one 19" Jag space saver on Fleabay, this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/27630945515...Bk9SR6qlisrMYw
Black and correct number 9W83-1007-RA.
Dozens and dozens of 18" ones but as I said before I suspect 18" won't fit.
